Gabrielle Kotkov
Gabrielle Kotkov is an educator, consultant, and the creator of Multilingual Montessori. She is an AMI-trained 3-6 Montessori guide and has worked in schools in New York, Texas, England and Italy. Gabrielle is currently on the teaching faculty at the West Side Montessori School Teacher Education Program in NYC and on the content development team at Trillium Montessori. She was a contributing author to the AMS "Montessori in Contemporary Culture" Journal and a recipient of the 2025 AMS Impact Award.
Gabrielle has a Master's Degree in Child Studies from Linköping University, AMI 3-6 Diploma from the Maria Montessori Institute, and TESOL Certification from Columbia University Teachers College.

When does the course start and finish?
This course consists of pre-recorded videos. You will gain access to all the videos as soon as you register. You have access for one year and you may watch at your convenience, as often as you wish, during that time.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed primarily for 3-6 guides in a Montessori environment. Homeschoolers will also find this course very beneficial for understanding the grammar curriculum and will learn how to use the materials.
Will you demonstrate how to use the Montessori grammar materials?
Yes, this course includes videos for how to present the key grammar materials for the primary level (3-6 year olds).
Is this a complete Language curriculum training?
No, this course is not a replacement for an accredited teacher education program.
Does the course include lesson plans or materials?
This course does not replace initial training or include a Language album or lesson plans. However, printable materials for several grammar lessons are included.
Is this appropriate for parents?
Parents are welcome and will find the detailed explanation of the Montessori grammar curriculum illuminating. Caution: if your child attends a Montessori school, we advise that you not purchase materials to do extra work at home. In the vast majority of cases, children will stop doing these activities at school if they have the same materials at home.
