ES&I maintains the highest quality Montessori language arts products, satisfying our goal to provide young learners with maximum quality and comprehensive Montessori materials. Thus, our mission: to provide exemplary Montessori language arts skill building materials designed for optimum development of children 2-1/2 through the lower elementary years.

The ES&I curriculum begins with Initial Sound Boards and includes Conversational Scenes preparing the child for the Four Phonetic components; Short Phonetic, Longer Phonetic, and specifically color-coded, Early Childhood & Elementary phonograms. ES&I objects are carefully selected for precision and aesthetics, and beautifully displayed in locally constructed, wooden containers, stored in beautiful cabinets.

Creator: Dottie Sweet Feldman is author, editor and advisor for ES&I and holds a Master of Education, & American Montessori Society credentials for ages 3 through 12. Her interest in brain research focuses on the necessity for ordered, phonemic elements in an effective reading program, fundamental to the ES&I’s Skill Building Series.

Founder: Marie Jenkins holds an American Montessori Society Early Childhood Credential. Marie has collaborated with dyslexia specialists, physical and visual therapists to better understand the physical needs of challenged children as they acquire reading readiness skills.

Owner: Kristen Richter holds an American Montessori Society Elementary I-II Credential. Her background includes administration and instructor for teacher education program, lower elementary teacher, upper elementary teacher, Toddler and Early Childhood teacher’s assistant and material designer! Kristen is the proud mom of three third generation Montessori children!
