CALL FOR PRESENTERS

We are thrilled to open up our course platform to new presenters!

Montessori experts are invited to submit a completed video presentation for review. Presentations should be geared towards Montessori professionals. There is no deadline for submission; you may submit at any time and, if selected, we will add it to our course schedule.

Presentations are offered to the public in one of two ways:

  • a stand-alone workshop in our masterclass series or
  • bundled with other presentations as part of a summit or larger course

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: I don't meet the criteria above. Can I still be a guest presenter?
A: You are welcome to submit a presentation for consideration if it has been reviewed by a Montessori expert who meets the criteria above. Please include a brief letter from the expert explaining how they have applied your expertise in a professional Montessori setting. For example:

  • you teach a "specials" subject in a Montessori school. Topics might include: yoga, art, music, foreign language, gardening, etc.
  • you are an expert in a related field such as special needs and have worked closely with a Montessori school
  • you do specialized trainings for educators on topics such as diversity, sex ed, etc. and have worked closely with multiple Montessori schools

Q: Will this require a lot of technical know-how?
A: You won't need any fancy equipment to create your presentation. You can record yourself using the webcam on your computer or the built in camera on your phone. If you prefer, you can simply use Powerpoint with a voiceover. You will need to be comfortable enough with your device to make the recording, upload it to Dropbox or something similar, and send us the download link. We have linked to some online tutorials in the Guest Presenter Resource Center to walk you through these steps.

Q: Will I get paid? How much?
A: If your presentation is selected to be part of a bundle of courses or a summit, you will be paid a one-time fee of $400 for a 60-90 minute video presentation. If your presentation is selected to be a stand-alone workshop in the masterclass series, you will receive a 60% commission (after transaction fees) on all registrations. Please note, we cannot guarantee that your submission will be selected.

Q: Will you help me develop the content of the presentation?
A: At this time we do not have the man power to personally help you refine the content of your presentation. We have set up this presenter resource center to help you find the resources you need.

Q: Who owns the presentation once I submit it?
A: You retain copyright of the presentation. If your presentation is selected to be part of a bundle or summit, you will grant us the right to publish and sell your presentation for a one-time fee. If your presentation is selected as a stand-alone workshop in the masterclass series, you will grant us the right to publish and sell your presentation for a percentage commission on every sale (after transaction fees). You will retain the right to use your presentation in other settings. However we will ask that you not offer the presentation for free or at a lower price on any other platform as long as it is available here on Trillium Montessori Courses.
